After visiting Eric's family in PA, it was time to visit my parents in Virginia.
First item on the itinerary of fun . . . the aquarium in Gatlinburg, TN.

Thanks to Aunt Amy, Tyson has a beautiful violin that is way nicer than a beginning violin student should have. He was so excited to begin strings this year.

Birthday fun.
My singing group, Harmony Sounds, was so blessed to be able to sing on opening night at the Christmas lights at the Mesa Temple grounds. This was our first Christmas performance of the season, and we were very nervous. Luckily, Kristen and Walter spent Thanksgiving with us and came to the concert.
In early December, we traveled up to Utah for a long weekend.
It was great to visit such "old" friends from our BYU days!!!
We also got to hang with Kristen, Nathan and Amy for some serious gaming!
Tyson's first Strings Concert! Yay!
Eric and Tyson went to the bowl game in New Mexico to watch BYU play. They attended a pep rally the night before and then a fireside where some of the players spoke. It was so cool! They spoke with Chad Lewis, got autographs from Cosmo, and Tyson got his picture taken with the cheerleaders. What more could a boy ask for?!
The kids had a great Christmas!!!
On Daddy's birthday, Cambrie and Tyson headed back to school, but we took Chase and Ella to the zoo. Notice Eric's fierce beard! Don't tell him, but I'm glad it's gone!

Spring BASEBALL. Tyson and Chase played Little League this year. This was Chase's first year of tee ball. Tyson's team make it to the second round of the playoffs.

Ahhhh, I just read this and now I miss all the kids (tear). What a fun update. Tyson I think is awesome that you are learning the violin. Cambrie you looked so grown up going on you daddy date. Chase, way to go with T-ball! Last but absolutely adorable is Ella who I swear is the most photogenic kid I have ever seen!!!
