Two weeks away!

I can't believe we are only two weeks from leaving for Ukraine. We have been working on this for such a long time that it is really surreal to actually be leaving. We are very excited to meet our facilitator and her family and see the beautiful city of Kiev. We are nervous for our appointment, but we know everything will work out the way it is supposed to. When we have access to the internet, we will try to add to this blog and keep everyone up to speed.


We had a wonderful Christmas holiday, and the kids had a ton of fun with Eric's parents while they visited for over two weeks. We played many games of Rummikub, and Tyson convinced us to play the Pirates of the Caribbean version of the game of LIFE. The above picture is of our visit to the Mesa Temple Christmas lights. It is always so beautiful and we were able to attend the nightly concert (this one happened to have a group of singers that included a friend of ours). The Christmas music was wonderful and only added to the serene spirit that we felt when thinking of the birth of the Savior.
